2008 Exploring Year-End Banquet

The 2008 Exploring Year-End Banquet is set for Saturday January 19, 2008. We will hold this year's event at Camp William B. Snyder which is located at 6100 Antioch Rd Haymarket, VA. Cost is $20 per person. Download the RSVP card here

Youth Leadership Forum

This one-day course is open to any Explorer who hold a position of rank within their post. The idea of this course is to give young adults some of the skills needed to lead an Explorer post. This course is made up of a combination of class-room and hands-on activities. We will conduct these course four times a year in different locations through-out MD, VA, and Washington DC. The next course is due to happen in a location and times will be forth coming. This class is limited to the first 30 Explorers who register. The cost of this one-day class is FREE however an adult advisor must accompany Explorers to the training.

Leadership Development at Camp Snyder

 Haymarket, VA

August 22-23, 2008

Spend a day on the leadership development COPE course (outdoor ropes challenge course), and a day in action-packed leadership development course sessions, competitions, nature enjoyment, and campfire programs. Tents are provided in wooded campsites.The $40 fee includes meals, from Thursday lunch through Friday lunch.

2008 National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference

The 2008 National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference will host thousands of participants for the 16th biennial National Law Enforcement Exploring Conference. Reasons for the success of the conference has been the Advisors' active support and participation and the opportunity to network with adult and youth participants from all over the U.S.A. Complete the Post Reservation/Security Deposit form, with approval from the appropriate local Learning for Life office.
